Design Sprint
Stuck in a long decision cycle? Searching for a fresh angle on a hard problem? A Design Sprint is the fastest, most reliable way to tackle a big challenge and pressure-test a new idea. In four focused days, we generate concepts, build a working prototype, and put it in front of real users — so you walk away with evidence, not opinions, and a clear next step.
The Design Sprint was developed at Google to compress long decision-making cycles and validate ideas at speed. It's been adopted by everyone from early-stage startups to public-sector teams — anywhere there's a challenge worth solving or a product worth exploring. It pairs UX research and design craft with rapid prototyping — and in four days, we go from raw question to tested prototype together.
Is a Design Sprint right for you?
A Design Sprint earns its keep when the challenge is significant enough to justify four focused days of senior people's time.
A Design Sprint is the right method when you want to:
- Move quickly on a new product or service
- Kick-start a digital transformation initiative
- Add a critical feature to an existing offering
- Find a creative solution to a specific problem
- Align different visions or departments across the organization
A simple gut-check: ask yourself what it would cost to solve this problem. If the answer makes you wince, it's probably sprint-worthy. Want to talk it through? Get in touch and we'll help you assess the fit.
How the sprint unfolds
We assemble a cross-functional team — people from your organization paired with our UX designers, strategists, and engineers. Not everyone needs to be present every day, but a decision-maker should be in the room on the first two days. The sprint runs for four days, and we tailor the cadence to what your challenge requires.
We frame the problem, agree on the target outcome, and surface the open questions. Then we run structured exercises to generate a wide spread of possible solutions.
The team votes on the strongest idea, then sketches the user flow that brings the chosen concept to life.
We build a clickable prototype that feels close enough to a real product to test convincingly, and prepare the user-testing sessions.
We run usability tests with people from your target audience, capturing observations live throughout the day. Once testing wraps, we synthesize the results and discuss what comes next.
What you walk away with
- A clickable, validated concept that's easy to present to decision-makers across the organization.
- A test report that captures what real users did, said, and struggled with.
- A clear set of next steps, with concrete recommendations you can act on.
- And yes — the whole sprint can be run remotely if that suits you better.
