Siemens

case

Background

Siemens is a German global industrial conglomerate headquartered in Munich and Berlin. The group was founded in 1847 and is today Europe's largest in the technology sector. Siemens AG is listed on the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse and the New York Stock Exchange. Siemens wanted help with adaptations of its systems to live up to the requirements that the EU and other authorities place on them, as well as new development in an existing system. The project included development of the state decision support system EBS2020 for the European Social Fund (ESF), which is the EU's main tool for promoting employment in Europe. In the fund, the EU and the member states deposit money which then goes to finance local, regional and national projects that create work, help business and strengthen the skills of individuals.

The solution

We ensured that Siemens' systems are compatible with the directive from the EU, by developing the decision support system's frontend, NodeJS backend and UX. The decision support system is developed using Java-based MicroService architecture that is driven by a frontend developed using AngularJS.
