Siemens

Background

Siemens AG is a global industrial technology company headquartered in Munich and Berlin. Founded in 1847, Siemens is today one of Europe’s largest technology enterprises and is listed on both the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.

Siemens required support in adapting its systems to comply with regulatory requirements imposed by the EU and national authorities, as well as extending functionality within an existing platform. The project included development of the state decision support system EBS2020 for the European Social Fund, the EU’s primary instrument for promoting employment and skills development across member states.

The solution

tDigital ensured statutory compliance with EU structural fund regulations by designing and implementing key components of EBS2020, the national platform used by Svenska ESF-rådet to administer projects co-financed by the European Social Fund.

We were responsible for system architecture as well as development of the AngularJS frontend, Node.js backend components, and UX layer. The platform was built on a Java-based microservice architecture and included advanced reporting workflows, validation logic, decision support functionality, real-time processing, and secure handling of regulatory documentation.
