The University’s external website is a key channel for reaching prospective students, researchers, and partners worldwide, and needed to meet rising expectations around accessibility, security, privacy compliance, and performance.

tDigital led the modernisation of Chalmers University of Technology’s external website, taking the work forward across architecture, security, and frontend engineering. We delivered a strategic migration of the entire frontend stack to the latest versions of Next.js and Apollo, with accompanying runtime, dependency, and CI/CD improvements, alongside significant security hardening, GDPR-compliant cookie handling, and accessibility and performance enhancements across the platform.

The work covered solution architecture, frontend modernisation, security, accessibility, privacy compliance, performance engineering, and lifecycle management of components and packages. The result was a faster, more accessible, and more secure platform, with a modern frontend foundation positioned to support Chalmers’ digital presence for years to come.
