Bonnier Magazines & Brands (formerly Bonnier Tidskrifter) is part of the Bonnier Group, the Nordics’ leading media house with over 200 years of experience in the industry. The publisher operates a network of well-known consumer brand websites including VeckoRevyn, Amelia, Allt om Mat, Damernas Värld, Styleby, Privata Affärer, and Teknikens Värld, together serving 2.2 million visitors every week. With a high-traffic publishing operation spanning multiple titles and a shared advertising system, the organisation needed continuous development across its sites, faster delivery on editorial updates and commercial campaigns, optimised performance for readers, and a more efficient way to manage development work across the portfolio.
tDigital developed and maintained the network of websites across all of the publisher’s digital brands, and took ownership of the kanban flow used to handle urgent requests on the sites and advertising system. We delivered editorial updates and commercial campaigns on behalf of the editorial and sales teams, and developed, delegated, and coordinated the work requested by product owners and editors, ensuring high-priority changes reached production quickly and reliably across the portfolio.
In parallel, tDigital designed and built an entirely new build system for Bonnier using Webpack, optimising how assets were bundled and served across the publisher’s sites. The work covered website development across the network, platform architecture, build tooling and optimisation, advertising system integration, editorial and campaign delivery, kanban management, and close collaboration with product owners, editorial teams, and commercial stakeholders. The result reduced client-side data transfer by 90% and significantly improved ad load times across the publisher’s sites, delivering a faster experience for readers and a more efficient delivery model for the organisation.
