As Bombardier’s customer base expanded across an increasingly varied set of operating systems, its native testing tools needed to be migrated and adapted to multiple platforms, enabling test cases to run reliably and without interruption regardless of the underlying environment.

tDigital contributed systems engineering work to migrate Bombardier’s native on-board test tooling to support multiple platforms, ensuring stable and reliable execution of test cases across different operating systems. The engagement included redesigning desktop applications used within the test environment and adapting the underlying codebase to operate within real-time testing requirements.

The work covered cross-platform engineering, desktop application development, real-time systems work, and test infrastructure engineering. The result was a more robust, portable test environment supporting Bombardier’s ability to validate software across a varied fleet of vehicles and operating contexts.
