Background

Apoteket AB is Sweden's largest pharmacy chain and a state-owned company that was founded in 1998 with the task of retailing pharmaceuticals in Sweden. In addition to pharmacy operations, Apoteket AB also offers pharmaceutical supply with associated pharmacy services to hospitals, health centers, dental clinics, municipal units and private healthcare companies and also works with health services for employers via so-called Hospital Pharmacies.

Apoteket is a partner in the digital healthcare provider Doktor24 (Platform 24 Healthcare AB). The companies develop new digital and physical care and health services in close collaboration.
